@Chris--It's either one or the other. When you are posting a link to a page that has a photo on it though, it gives you the option to include the thumbnail or not.

Christine:

You were such a great help before with my question, I was wondering if it was possible to ask another?

When posting, one has the option to also attach either a link or a photo or an event or a video. Do you know how one can attach a photo AND a link for example? It seems the current process allows a user to attach one of the above, but not more than one choice. I realize I could just add the link in the body of my posting but links as an attachment look more professional.

Anyway, any assistance is always appreciated.

Actually I tried that before but when I signed in as another user, I was still able to add feedback/comment to a school district posting that appeared on my other user page and it showed up on the school district facebook page.

I was hoping to achieve disabling the ability of anyone to post a comment/feedback to the school's postings. Re: mischievous students or disgruntled parents or employees.

@Chris--Hi, yes you can. Go to Edit Page under your picture and then Wall Settings. Click the pencil icon on the top right and choose Edit. From there under View Settings you should see Fan Permissions. Uncheck the box next to "Fans can write or post content on the wall."

Would you have any idea on how to change the settings on my fan page "Citrus County School District" so that no comments can be left at all by anyone?

I was just interested in posting my daily items and have them able to be viewed by fans of the site. I wasn't interested in feedback or comments from others.

Yes I know I can delete them as they come but I was hoping for a setting that would prevent them from showing up at all.

@J.D.--Just saw you were on FB last night, too. :)

The main change I made was to make all of my profile stuff only viewable to friends. And I wanted my name to be searchable within Facebook and to be indexed in the search engines so I checked off those.

Regarding the wall settings, it really just depends on how you are using FB. I keep friends involved on my wall because it builds community and interaction--leading to more visibility for myself and my biz.
