Yes, Facebook continues to grow at an astronomical rate. Even business owners who have shied away from it as a marketing tool have to admit that their target market's got to be somewhere on there. It's strongly worth considering. With RSS, I think the statistic is that only 11% of people use RSS feeds to read blog content. Surprises me considering it has been around around awhile and is so convenient to use. @Betsy--My mom is on Facebook too, was surreal at first but I think it's fun! :P Absolutely, marketing is all about maximizing ways to be found--especially true online. I'll get on that FriendFeed post soon. :) @Anthony--Good for you for having a fan page.
