@Sharon–Yes, we’re all having to learn new tricks on a weekly basis it seems–social media changes so fast!

@Loretta–I know, it is a bummer. But definitely try suggesting your Page to the friends you have on your personal profile. I did that and the fans just seemed to grow exponentially!

@Sharon–You can’t combine the two, but what you can do is suggest to them to become a Fan. Nothing wrong with that. So suggest to your friends and the group members. I decided to do that yesterday and it multiplied….I started with 49 fans yesterday morning and as of today, I have 240 fans. Don’t be shy, it works!

Christine, I feel your pain. I too, just put up my Initially You Too-Personalized Presents Plus PAGE on Facebook. I have 55 fans. I have an IY2 GROUP too, but don’t know how or if you can combine them to make the minimum. Any hints on how to get more fans legitimately, but quickly would be greatly appreciated!

@Karl–Thanks for the tips! Facebookers are pretty cool. I sent out some suggestions and as of now have 121 fans! Really shows the viral power of Fan Pages! Now, if only they would fix the bug in verifying my acct. so I could claim my URL! No luck so far…

Facebook will give $50 in free advertising. Maybe you can take advantage of one of those offers to get people to join.

You probably want to try letting people know on Twitter (if you haven’t done this already. I also would suggest sending out as many fan welcomes as you can. I just joined so that’s one less slot you have to fill.
