Social Media Success Video Post: The 7 Ingredients That Got Me to Where I Am Today

I wanted to switch things up a bit and do a video for you today on a topic I have been asked about lately: how did I go from pretty much nowhere to the successful business I have today? I gave it some thought and have narrowed it down to 7 main “ingredients” which I share below. (If for some reason you have a problem viewing the video here, I also uploaded it to YouTube.)

Would love to hear your thoughts on what I shared in this video–let me know in the comments!

Thanks Angela, I actually did it with PowerPoint and something called ScreenFlow for Mac. (Camtasia or CamStudio would be the PC equivalent.) It basically lets you record your screen and then export it as a movie file.

Christine, this was wonderful – very helpful and practical. Loved all your bullet points and graphics and what you said about having faith and perseverance. I am curious what you use for your videos too. It doesn’t appear to be You Tube or Vimeo. Thanks for this! :D

Glad you liked it Beth! The video I actually uploaded to screencast.com. You can use that site for free. Then they give you the embed code for it to put on your site. (Or get the link for it if you choose.)

Thank you Christine, for breaking it down for us. All very good advice. Just do it is the best tip here. Question, does Camtasion record voice too?

Hi Patti! Yes, Camtasia records voice as well if you have either a built-in mic or one you plug in such as by USB port.
